Charter Hall is inviting local authors and aspiring writers from Bribie Island and Southeast Queensland to contribute short stories for an exciting new project: "The Adventures of Bribie Island."
Whether it’s the joy of holidays, the charm of local flora and fauna, cherished family moments, shopping centre visits, or lifelong friendships, we want your stories to bring Bribie Island to life!
Story Guidelines
π Length Options:
- 1-minute story: 100–200 words
- 3-minute story: 450–650 words
πΏ Theme: Community-focused, Bribie Island adventures
π Rights: Authors must assign a 5-year intellectual property license to Charter Hall
π° Compensation: Up to $300 per approved story
Timeline
π Expression of Interest Deadline: Friday, 6 June
βοΈ Final Story Submission: Friday, 27 June
π Editing & Revisions: Week of 30 June
π Upload to Portal: Week of 7 July
π Testing & Prep: Week of 14 July
π Launch Event: During Children's Book Week, 16–23 August
